One thing is for sure and this goes for any business including track and race day promoters is that if they don't choose to make them successful and make a fair profit, who will. Most people in business take a financial risk to make a fair profit and provide a good service in the process. The good all fashion value for money is all us riders can expect. If we don't get that from which ever promoter is currently looking after any track, then simply don't spend your money with them and that particular track. The key is a fair profit and good value. If the costs are what they are and everyone makes a fair profit, then that's just what things cost. If someone along that chain is making a killing, then that's when people should whinge and then go spend their money elsewhere. To expect prices to stay static for years and years from any business in any industry is wishful thinking and is like expecting a handout. As an Australian I love good value and don't like being ripped off, but I have always been told to work for what I want and to not expect charity. Good value is all I expect when I put my money down.
