Computime Race Timing Systems will be providing race timing and scoring for the whole series once again this year. As a result, competitors will be able to benefit from a variety of methods of accessing timing and results information.
The following options are available:
Competitors can bring along a television and rabbit ear aerial to pick up live timing information from Computime’s Race Display program.
Competitors with wireless enabled laptop computers can connect to the RACETIMING wireless network Computime will set-up at the circuit. Coverage will be concentrated around pit lane and pit garages. The local intranet site will include Computime’s “Compulive” web-based live timing application, results of competed events in both HTML and PDF formats, and other information such as historical results and lap records. The information will be available by accessing the site timing.local from your web browser.
For family and friends at home, the “Compulive” live timing application will also be available on the internet together will full results after each event. Our current experience is that live times are updated on the internet only seconds after the lap has been completed.
